Three hostages have been rescued, an armed man is a prisoner after several hours in South LA alcohol stop

SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) – Three hostages, including a young girl, have been rescued and a gunman in custody after a long-running stand inside a South Los Angeles store on Friday afternoon.

Several pickup trucks were seen blocking traffic at 5pm in front of the store on 67th Street and Holmes Avenue. The plaintiff was wanted with a lethal weapon before rushing into the store.

At around 6:20 pm, a SWAT team entered the store and rescued the inmates – a man, a woman and a young girl – from the situation. Each of the abductees was taken out of the store by a member of the SWAT team.

A few minutes later, the plaintiff was remanded in custody and no injuries were reported.

According to the LA County Sheriff’s Department, the spy was armed with a shotgun. A BB rifle was also found at the scene.
