A plane that crashed near Houston on Saturday was caught on camera.
The plane was operated in the Rice Festival Parade earlier in the day, according to the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office.
It crashed in Winnie recently on State Highway 124 Saturday morning.
The plane appeared to hit a traffic light, before the traffic light hit the road.
We are told the pilot decided to fly the plane back to the airport, instead of taking it there when he hit a road sign on the highway.
Surprisingly, the pilot is innocent. The sheriff’s office says he went to a doctor for a check-up as a precautionary measure.
No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fall is being investigated.
