A Florida man currently under investigation for his alleged involvement in the January 6 attack on the Capitol was arrested last night after hitting a boat in a drunken stupor, police said. According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, 38-year-old Paul Rae – who is said to be affiliated with the Proud Boys terrorist group – and an unnamed traveler struck the ship on a small island where paramedics found it about 70 feet from the sea. Many eyewitnesses saw the ship facing north and capsized. Both Rae and the passenger were seen drunk but remained unharmed, according to police. Authorities arrested Rae, and he was registered with the Pinellas County Jail on a number of Boating under the authority. He was released Sunday after 9 p.m.
