NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A NYPD official faces murder charges after being shown a third corner of love.
Police said five-year-old Yvonne Wu, a five-year-old soldier, was lurking in the home of her ex-girlfriend in Brooklyn when she shot his wife and new girlfriend, CBS2’s Jessica Moore said in China.

The new video shows the chaos caused when police say a laughing lover is torn.
“It was a double shot and I have never seen in all the years I have lived here in my life seeing anything like this,” neighbor Pat Santi said.
Video footage shows Wu being picked up by his fellow police officers Wednesday night.
Wu was out of work when he was allegedly shot and wounded by his ex-girlfriend, 28, Jenny Li, and killed 24-year-old Jamie Liang, his ex-girlfriend, according to police.
Multiple 911 calls came in the form of a shotgun inside a house on the corner of 19th Avenue and 79th Street in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn around 5 a.m. Wednesday.
A deadly encounter is in the area at the edge.
“I can’t believe it. It’s scary, ”said one woman.
CBS2 divorced Wu and her ex divorced last month.
“I’ve always seen them together,” said Jeanette Vargas, a neighbor. “Like anyone else, you can come home and find your loved one or someone else and break up. So I don’t think it had anything to do with him being a police officer. ”
“How often have you been separated in your life? Will you go and kill someone? You may want to, but don’t take 9mm and shoot them, ”said Santi.
Valerie Wades said she watched as political healers tried desperately, but unsuccessfully, to save Liang.

“Ambulances and EMTs came and took the two victims outside. One was that they used to go crazy in the chest, ”said Wades.
Police sources told CBS2’s John Dias a fatal encounter may have been planned in advance.
“We thank all three parties who knew each other,” said NYPD Assistant Chief Michael Kemper.
Source said Wu waited inside the house of his ex-girlfriend, which they shared at the same time. When he returned with Liang, Wu reportedly fired several rounds.
“It’s a very good opportunity for his weapon of service,” Kemper said. “One woman, 24, was found sleeping in the living room and a second woman, 23, was found lying on the floor in the bedroom.”
Police said Wu agreed to shoot there and that his weapons were inside the house.
“I would describe him as a calm and cohesive person and he really comes across,” Kemper said.
“In a million years I never thought it would be a police officer who was a shooter. He just seemed to be moving away. Everyone was like a hyper-drive and very calm, ”said Wades.
Police said Wu’s ex-girlfriend is in stable condition, but her injuries are serious.
The source says Wu and his former acquaintance had a conversation, but their relationship was “contradictory.”
The Attorney General’s Office is handling the case as it is seen as a shooting involving the police.
