Although Clark did not say when he helped abort the baby, Clark’s order told Task & Target that Clark was not the Marine seen in the August 19 video.

Clark is under investigation for his appearance, Task & Purpose stated.

“The 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit has begun a legal investigation into the involvement of LCpl Hunter Clark at the event last week to determine if any DoD rules have been violated,” Capt Kelton J. Cochran, spokesman for MEU 24, told the site.

Cochran did not say what plans Clark might have violated, but Department of Defense instructions prohibit U.S. troops. to speak “before a political meeting with a party, including any meeting that promotes a political party, election, or cause.”

The Department of Defense did not respond immediately to Insider’s request for comment.

Clark did not wear his uniform to the Trump rally and did not go on to talk about politics.

The child seen in the video was later reunited with his father, Marine Corps later informed NBC News.
