A booster from Johnson & JohnsonThe COVID-19 vaccine showed signs of a significant boost in immune defenses in study participants, federal health officials said on Wednesday.
However, regulators warned that the data was limited and that some of the study results would require them to rely on J & J’s own analysis rather than their own.

Food and Drug Administration staff provided their assessment of the J&J Booster data as part of the agency’s review of the company’s application for approval of the second dose.
Following approval of booster vaccinations for seniors and certain high-risk individuals receiving the COVID-19 vaccine from. have received Pfizer Inc. and BioNTech SE, the FDA is now considering whether to approve additional doses of the J&J and Moderna shots. It is also considered whether the doses could be mixed between different vaccines.
