How Cheeterz Club spices up the boring world of reading glasses

Reading glasses have been around for years. But people have always had to either pay a lot for designer glasses or be content with drugstore purchases. Now Cheeterz Club wants to change the entire landscape. Read this week’s Small Business Spotlight to see how the company is achieving this lofty goal.

What is the business doing

Sells custom reading and blue light glasses.

Business niche

Offers an individual experience.

Founder Jennifer Farrelly told Small Business Trends, “With a simple three-step process, customers can design their own glasses and customize them with a variety of lens types and fashionable tint options.”

How the business started

To fill a gap in the market.

Farrelly says, “I discovered a huge niche in the market when I bought my first reading glasses myself. It was obvious that I could either invest hundreds of dollars in something fashionable or swallow my pride and go to a drug store. Then the light bulb went out! Why should readers be too embarrassed or mocked at anything? Why are there no fashionable reading glasses at reasonable prices? In contrast to our competitors, Cheeterz Club offers the same or a better quality, high-quality glasses and stylish fashion at drugstore prices. “

Biggest win

Participation in the All Raise Accelerator Program in summer 2019.

Farrelly adds, “All Raise equips female founders and funders with access, guidance and support to exponentially accelerate their success and advance the entire industry.”

Biggest risk

Self-financing of the company.

Farrelly explains, “I’m 100% in this business and bootstrapped because I believe in the merchantability of this product.”

lesson learned

Move faster.

How they’d spend an additional $ 100,000
