(WJW) – The family is still grieving over the loss of their daughter. Then Gabby Petitio’s mother took to Twitter for the first time to express her grief as Brian Laundrie’s search continues.

Breaking his Twitter silence On Saturday, Nichole Schmidt’s biography explains that she is “A Mother with a Purpose, Fighting for Change and Defense will never end! My Gabby will never be forgotten!”

He wrote the following:

And also to return a post from Gabby’s father, Joseph’s Request, along with her husband and Gabby’s foster father Jim Schmidt.

Petito / Schmidt’s family held Gabby’s funeral less than a week ago, after he was found dead in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming earlier this month.

The 23-year-old Laundrie, a 22-year-old Petito boy, is still missing and authorities, along with the TV show Dog Bounty Hunter, are continuing to pass through Florida in an attempt to find him. Laundrie is wanted by the FBI in this case, and authorities have been at her family’s home for the past few weeks searching for any findings.

Back on September 20, Joseph continued on “Dr. Phil ”shows that Brian and his family must be held accountable for their actions.

“I hope they find out what’s coming, and that includes his parents,” Petito said. “For I will tell you, it is the same in my book.”
