EXCLUSIVE – Casey DeSantis, wife of Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida, was diagnosed with breast cancer.

“I am saddened to say that the honorable First Lady of Florida and my dear wife have been diagnosed with breast cancer,” the first Republican governor said in a statement shared with Fox News on Monday.

“As a mother of three young children, Casey is the backbone of our family and has touched the lives of countless Floridians through her programs as First Lady.

Casey DeSantis, 44, is a former producer and Emmy award winner in the leading PGA television series. He was also a three-time equalizer, with runner-up NCAA second division champion.

Married since 2010, Casey and Ron DeSantis are the parents of Madison (four-year-old), Mason (three-year-old) and Mamie (14-month-old), who was the first child born in a Florida governor’s home in more than half a century. .
