Gabby Petito was strangled to death by “human power,” a Wyoming coroner who reviewed a Long Island native survey on Tuesday.
Teton County Coroner Brent Blue provided new information on the investigation into the cause of Petito’s death during his appearance on CNN – hours after he was pronounced dead by strangulation.
The papers provided other prescriptions, labeling the death as “self-indulgence / self-mutilation.”
“Trembling means someone has been strangled by human power,” Blue told the Anderson Cooper 360. “There were no manipulative forces involved.”
“People can be choked in other ways,” he said. “We saw people on top of wireless cars – which may have been choked by a machine incident.” That was, we believe it was choked by someone. “
President Anderson Cooper asked why Blue realized he was the person responsible for killing Petito.
“Mainly because only people have opposing thumbs,” Blue said. “There is no evidence that this was done by any animal as its death.”
Petito, 22, had been dead for three to four weeks when his body was found in the Bridger-Teton National Forest on September 19, ending a week-long search that brought headlines.
Although officials have ruled that his death is a felony, the cause of death was not announced until Tuesday afternoon when Blue told members of the media about the outcome of the corpse. But, he said under Wyoming the law will not produce any more.
Blue did not estimate the exact time of Peter’s death, nor did he disclose the condition of his body when he was found – whether or not the remains were found hidden or not.
And while he didn’t think about the possibility of joining Petito’s runaway boyfriend, Brian Laundrie, Blue said during his news conference in the afternoon that Petito is one of the dead most of the “domestic violence people” and sadly some don’t. take a closer look.
Cooper asked Blue about what was said during his visit to CNN, saying this indicates that Petito’s death was caused by domestic violence.
“This is speculation,” Blue said. “It was just speculation.”
Petito was last seen alive sometime in late August when he was on a cross-country trip with Laundrie. But the trip was canceled and Laundrie returned home to her parents’ home in Florida without Petito early September 1.
He refused to join the police when Petito was reported missing on September 11 and disappeared recently.
