Air India plane gets wedged under a footbridge near Delhi airport

Not every day you see an airplane stuck under a footbridge.

A scrapped Air India plane stuck under a footbridge stunned people around the Delhi-Gurugram highway on Sunday morning.

So how did it get there?

According to Air India, it wasn’t a mishap. Those who caught her may have misjudged the height of the bridge and that led to it getting stuck in such a bizarre place, according to a report fromThe times of India.

A video of the incident was posted on social media showing the mammoth vehicle, which looked like a fish out of water, blocking part of the highway and passers-by on the other side.

“The aircraft is certainly not part of the fleet at Delhi Airport and is transported without wings in the video. It appears to be a scrapped aircraft and the driver may have made a mistake judgment while transporting it, ”an Air India spokesman told the publication.
