UN: Yemen economy collapses, humanitarian crisis intensifies

The somber remarks by Assistant Secretary General Ramesh Rajasingham came during a briefing before the UN Security Council. More than 20 million Yemenis – two thirds of the population – need humanitarian aid, but the aid organizations, he said, “are running out of money again”.
